(B-050.  DAF - Deutsche Arbeitsfront Gürtelschnalle. Constructed of aluminum, obverse with central mobile swastika inside cog wheel, reverse with loop and magnetic metal dual attachment prongs, marked with Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code “M4/2” for maker M. Winter, Munchen, measuring 62 mm x 48 mm, in near extremely fine condition.  Has not been cleaned.  $275

B-096.  A fine example of a Third Reich State Prussian buckle.period belt buckle, for a Reichsforstbeamter; constructed of fire gilt bronze; a round buckle, with a Prussian-style eagle on a raised pebbled field wielding a sword in one claw, and lightning bolts in the other within a thick laurel wreath with berries and a ribbon at the six o’clock position; the reverse hollow; an unmarked example; measuring 46 mm in diameter; with approximately 80% of its original gilt finish remaining; in overall very fine condition.  What makes this unique is the the owner scratched his name (Klimpel) on the reverse catch.  $250.

B-048.  SA, Type II, Brass with silver wash.  Most of the silver wash has been removed, but is very prevelent on the reverse.  Since there is little silver wash on the obverse remaining, this buckle has been discounted.  $110.

HJ Commercial, Small Size

B-028.  Small size HJ Variety Commercial buckle.  Measures 42cm x 42cm. worn by the NSDAP Jugend - precursor to the HJ or perhaps even Nazi supporters.  $145.

Interesting Note:  Before the 1930s, the 45th Infantry Division's symbol was a red square with a yellow swastika, a tribute to the large Native American population in the south-western United States. The belt buckle featured here was issued to personnel of the 45th infantry division to be worn with their Khaki uniform. Of metal construction. A swastika symbol was placed at the center of the buckle. The sides were pebbled.
